We had some storm damage to our chimney which ruined our wood burning stove flue etc. Eddie and Matt came on time and were very detailed with the work they did. These guys went far and beyond with the repair. They were very patient and took their time. Very informative and professional with the job. They were great with the whole process from measuring to installing wood stove but I feel they could have given me a better option and picking a better wood stove insert. Because the one I have it's kind of small it only heats up the living room and I need my whole house heated so I have to buy a bigger stove

I've been a satisfied customer of Dr. Soot for many years and today I had my first service under their new branding of Certified Chimney Pros. Matt, the owner, and an assistant (whose name escapes me - sorry...) were punctual, neat, and efficient. What impressed me the most was how Matt took the time to explain every step of the process to his new assistant, being sure he understood every facet of the job(s) they were doing. It was great for me because in the process, I learned a thing or two as well. After the assistant completed each task, Matt inspected the work to be certain it was done correctly.

In addition to the furnace & wood stove flu & wood stove cleaning, Matt also provided guidance on maintenance of the wood stove as well as storage of firewood. Every step of the process was great, from making the appointment wit the office, to the follow up reminder the day before, to the call in the morning letting me know they were on their way, to the actual service itself. I knew exactly what the charges were going to be beforehand, with no up-sell tactics or other on-site shenanigans.

I should also mention that I started using them several years ago when I was having issued with my wood stove. I'd had it serviced by another company and it just wasn't burning right. After a few return visits that didn't solve the issue, I called these guys for a second opinion. In no time at all Matt diagnosed the issue related to a faulty (and code violating) flu liner install that the previous guys should have caught. The problem was quickly fixed with the properly sized, typed, and installed liner and the system has been problem free ever since.

I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for a chimney cleaning professional.

Both of the workers were kind and courteous with lots of information to share about my new fireplace insert. It was very much appreciated as this is new territory for us to deal with.

Matt/Dave came to my home cleaned my chimney and also educated me on the annual service to my boiler flue and how important it is to have them cleaned and inspected. Will be using them again next year Great Job!!!!

We have a pellet stove that wasn't working properly and Matt and AJ came over to clean and repair it. I have to tell you that they were really great and did an amazing job. My wife and I could not be happier at the work they did. I learned a lot today and would recommend Certified Chimney Pros to anyone wants there chimney to work properly and save lots of money on heating bills.
